Hello and welcome to the first step in your journey towards a happier, healthier you.
My name is Edward Rogers and I am a Clinical Hypnotherapist and NLP Practitioner specialising in anxiety (and other mental health conditions) and addictions.
With over 12 years of experience dealing with mental health issues both on a professional and personal level, I can provide a deep understanding of what it is like to struggle. For individuals that are having a difficult time in their lives, a therapist with empathy can make all the difference. I am diagnosed with Bipolar 2 and Generalised Anxiety Disorder. I like to be open about this and believe that as a society we need to be unashamed by our issues and instead accept them and then challenge them.
If you are reading this then you are looking at making a change in your life and you are wondering if hypnotherapy may be able to help you. Hypnotherapy is a powerfully effective therapy that utilises hypnosis to achieve deep relaxation and a focused awareness. This state allows for positive change to take place at an unconscious level: the level of our behaviours, thoughts, feelings and perceptions. Due to working at this deeper consciousness, hypnotherapy typically requires far fewer sessions that other therapies with the average number of sessions required being between 2 and 6.
You may only be a few sessions away from deep, lasting change and the future you always dreamed of. Just imagine how differently your life may look, how differently you will feel whilst being more in tune with what you really desire.
My sessions are patient cantered and utilise a mixture of Hypnotherapy, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Cognitive Behavioural techniques to enable you to make positive changes. Sessions are built around the individual patient as each of us will require a different approach dependent on our specific circumstances and needs. I offer Clinical Hypnotherapy which means you won’t find any ticking clocks or pendulums to control your mind, just a relaxed atmosphere and a knowledgeable hypnotherapist that can guide you toward the positive changes you desire.
At the end of your treatment you will also have a number of new tools and strategies to take with you into every day life. These new tools may be the difference between success or a perceived failure when you are struggling most. But always remember, there is no such thing as failure, only feedback.
I hold a BSc (Hons) degree, a PGCE, a NLP practitioner certification and a Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy .
Additionally, I am a certified Smoking Cessation Therapist, a Weight Management specialist, a licensed HypnoBand practitioner and have undertaken additional training in both treating anxiety and depression with the Hypnotherapy Academy. I also hold full professional liability insurance and have an enhanced DBS.
