I am a hypnotherapist currently working out of Hoddesdon and have a special interest in the sometimes complicated issues around chronic pain/chronic condition management, however I am confident in helping with the other issues which may be causing you stress, anxiety or possibly holding you back from the things you want to achieve.
My journey in to the field of hypnotherapy has been an interesting one. I qualified as an Adult Nurse in 1997 and have worked across numerous specialities over the years giving me insight into the bio/psycho/social aspects of health and illness progression. I predominantly worked within the field of Chronic Pain management and ran my own clinics as a clinical nurse specialist in Kent. During this time I was part of the team delivering pain Management programmes and saw the enormous benefits Hypnotherapy delivered to patients who had been struggling for years with their symptoms. I decided that this was the path for me and as soon as the opportunity presented itself I completed my training.
I think that that the years I have spent in the NHS delivering a high level of quality treatment has instilled an ethical and careful approach to my practice which I am extremely proud of. I believe in building a rapport with my clients that's second to none and feel that it is only from this type of collaboration you will see real results.
I think the only way you can really see if you 'click' with a therapist is to talk to them, I offer a 10 minute complementary telephone consultation where we can assess your suitability for hypnotherapy and discuss the presenting issue. I look forward to hearing from you.
