I provide a caring, compassionate, and professional service, ensuring positive results for my clients and through working together fulfilling the desired outcome for each individual person.

I am passionate about hypnotherapy and the benefits that hypnotherapy can provide in helping a person to overcome their problems. Sometimes these problems have affected a person for a considerable length of time. I am passionate about helping people to overcome their problems so that their life can be enjoyed to its full potential.

When I meet with a person for the first time, I make sure that they feel comfortable and at ease with me as I believe this is important for therapy to be successful. Hypnotherapy can improve one’s quality of life by releasing stress from the mind and body. Hypnotherapy works by accessing the subconscious part of the brain.

Subconscious – defines all reactions and automatic actions we can become aware of if we think about them. For example, our ability to drive a car: once we get skilled, we stop thinking which gears to use, which pedals to press, or which mirror to look at, yet we become aware of what was done, once we think about it.

Your subconscious mind is like a huge memory bank. Its capacity is virtually unlimited. It permanently stores everything that ever happens to you. The function of your subconscious mind is to store and retrieve data. Its job is to ensure that you respond exactly the way you are programmed.

Your subconscious mind makes everything you say and do fit a pattern consistent with your self-concept. This is your “Master Program.” Your subconscious mind is subjective. It does not think or reason independently. It merely obeys the commands it receives from your conscious mind.

Your conscious mind can be thought of as the gardener, planting seeds. Your subconscious mind can be thought of as the garden, or fertile soil, in which the seeds germinate and grow. Your conscious mind commands and your subconscious mind obeys. Your subconscious mind is an unquestioning servant.

It works day and night to make your behaviour fit a pattern consistent with your emotionalised thoughts, hopes, and desires. Your subconscious mind grows either flowers or weeds in the garden of your life. Whichever you plant is based on the mental equivalents you create.

Hypnosis induces a relaxed state, when we are relaxed, we are in control. Once the subconscious is tapped into, stress, anxiety, fear, and phobias can all be released both on a conscious and subconscious level. By focusing on positive and structured goals, we are using the brain to its highest potential.

Regardless of the treatment area of choice, control is the key. Control of our thoughts, feelings and behaviour is always the goal. I offer a gentle but very effective course of treatment which is led by my clients’ personal goals.

My sessions are designed to be both enjoyable and relaxing.

I am currently offering Hypnotherapy sessions at; Victoria Therapy Centre, 22 Victoria Road, Saltaire, BD18 3LQ, England.
