I believe in taking a person centred approach to therapy, treating the person not the condition, focusing on your personal needs, wants, desires and goals.
We can all struggle at times to deal with the many day to day stressors of life. We can easily start experiencing difficulties which can lead to negative patterns of thinking and numerous difficult symptoms, such as anxiety, fears, stress or even addictions. These issues can often lead to relationship and work difficulties.
Together, we can explore what has brought you to therapy and address any psychological mechanisms which are maintaining your current issues. My aim as a therapist is to help you to change the way you perceive your situation and the way you relate this to yourself.
I am passionate about helping my clients to quickly and effectively move forwards with their lives, independently and successfully beyond treatment.
Over the last 6 years my professional career has spanned a whole range of environments where I have used various talking therapies and behavioural change techniques, including schools, community teams, adult residential addiction rehabs, a national specialist family rehab, and complex psychological needs services.
I offer a free 30 minute consultation prior to your first session. This is for you to make sure that I am the right therapist for you as it is essential that you are comfortable and confident with the therapist you chose.
If you require any further information, please feel free to contact me or browse my website.
