I have worked with children, young people and adults in a therapeutic role since 2000. I qualified as a Counseller in 2006, and as a hypnotherapist in 2015.
I have been employed by the Council, Social Care and Women's Aid for many years, giving me the opportunities to gain experience and knowledge, and develop strategies that work to support people to change.
I am particularly experienced in working with historic child abuse, domestic abuse, addictions, bereavement and loss, hoarding, anxiety and stress, driving nerves, exam worries and poor sleep hygiene.
I am insured, and have a recent clear enhanced DBS check.
I work in a person centred way, with honesty, trust and good rapport being at the heart of what I do, and I follow the BACP's ethical framework.
