First of all thank you for clicking and looking at my details, it is much appreciated and I hope that you will find what you are looking for and we can work together soon.
I have completed 35 years successfully working at senior levels in business in the UK and the Middle East, often in multi cultural workplaces.
Working with people has always been my passion, helping them with their problems, empowering them and liberating them to be more successful and perhaps more important, happier and with a work/life balance.
After a lot of thought I decided to change my own direction and follow my passion into working within Mental Health, which, as you know is still such a big issue and still carries a stigma that prevents many people from seeking help.
I committed to this change, professionally retrained, and three years later qualified as an Integrative Psychotherapist and Hypnotherapist. I am an Accredited member of the NCA and NHA.
I now specialise in working with people with problems dealing with Stress, Anxiety, Depression, Self Esteem, Self Defeating Behaviours and Habits, Grief and Loss and Motivational Career Management as well as many other issues that can affect our daily lives.
It is important to know and understand that Hypnotherapy is nothing like Stage Hypnotism entertainment shows, and contrary to some people’s belief Hypnosis is not a state of deep sleep.
It is also important to know and understand that a Client cannot be made to do anything against their wishes or own free will during Hypnotherapy.
A Client must want to commit to change their behaviour, habit, addiction or fear, and generally be self- motivated to do so in the first place.
You could say that Hypnosis is actually a powerful form of “believed-in imagination”, which means that if you can daydream or imagine something, then you can most likely experience Hypnotic phenomena.
Hypnosis is in effect an altered state of consciousness similar to a mixture of deep physical and mental relaxation and this enables your subconscious mind to be more aware and receptive to any helpful and healing suggestions.
This is usually done by guiding a Client’s imagination through a constructive and personalised visualisation, which focuses on their body and mind. When we are awake during our lives, our brain is producing Beta waves and when we are asleep, our brain produces Theta waves. During Hypnotherapy my Clients will relax to a state between being awake and asleep when our brains produces Alpha waves. This state is a pleasant, enjoyable, relaxing and often refreshing experience and facilitates meaningful and positive change by bypassing the conscious mind and accessing the Clients subconscious mind, while the Client is still in overall control.
The results of this process can be very rewarding, and life changing, for a Client who has committed to the process of positive and personal change.
If you want us to work together, then you will be listened to without judgement, respected and valued for who you are.
I will assist and empower you to find coping strategies and constructive solutions that are tailored to your specific, unique needs in a genuine and empathetic way.
As with Counselling and Psychotherapy, Hypnotherapy can be very effective in dealing with stress, anxiety, self-esteem, self-defeating behaviours/ habits, grief and loss and many other issues.
Don’t be misled by urban myths and misleading stories, Hypnotherapy can provide amazing support and solutions and I can personally attest to its effectiveness and safety when dealing with a professionally trained therapist in a safe place with confidentiality.
All it takes is that personal decision to take action and begin.
It is never too late to make changes. You do not need to suffer in silence.
You just need to begin your journey of positive change.
Why not begin it now?
I hope that I will see you soon.
