I have over 15 years experience working with adults with mental health issues, learning disabilities, autism and Asperger's. My knowledge, experience and training in both Hypnotherapy and Counselling, have taught me that people are not defined by a diagnosis or a so called condition. Everyone is unique, our histories and experiences are personal to each of us and I therefore treat therapy the same way. There is not a "one size fits all" in the way I work, everything is bespoke to address your personal challenges.
I specialise in working with, although not exclusively, anxiety, self-limiting behaviours, low self-esteem and goal achievement. I also work with a variety of other issues and if your own is not listed then please feel free to ask me if it is something I can help you with.
Within our subconscious lies our inner critical voice. The voice that tells us we're not good enough and we can't achieve what we want. That voice may have come from parents, partners or any negative relationships we have had in life and has now become your own inner voice that you believe is right. This is not true. Hypnotherapy can change that inner critic by adjusting your subconscious so you believe you CAN do, you are good enough and you can reach those goals.
There are many myths about hypnosis: You will not be unconscious-you will remain aware and in control and you will not do or say anything that you would not normally do or say.
Hypnotherapy "speaks to" the unconscious and without instantly recognising it, you will experience positive changes in your way of thinking.
I will explain fully, in an initial free consultation, what you can expect from hypnotherapy and answer any questions you may have.
Be assured that our work together is safe and confidential.
