I’m Emma Robertson, a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor trained in Person-Centred Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). I am also a trained hypnotherapist and can offer this as part of your counselling or a separate service.
I’ve always had a passion and interest in the human psyche. I have a BSc Psychology, a Professional Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling and a Professional Diploma in Hypnotherapy. I’m also a trained Designated Safeguard Lead and hold an enhanced disclosure check. I have worked for a number of years in a secondary school supporting children and young people 11-18 years old. Alongside this, I have worked for a charitable counselling agency supporting adults with wide-ranging presenting issues and difficulties.
