My Background and Experience

I bring a wealth of experience to my practice, with over 20 years as a family support worker, where I had the privilege of working closely with children and families. My focus in that role was always on enhancing the overall well-being of those I worked with, offering guidance and support to help them overcome obstacles and find balance in their lives. I believe that well-being is essential in every aspect of life—whether it’s mental, emotional, or physical health, these areas are interconnected and deeply influence our sense of balance, peace, and happiness. When one area is disrupted, it can affect everything else, from relationships and work to our home life and sense of purpose.

During my time as a family support worker, I provided not only practical advice and assistance but also a compassionate and non-judgmental space where individuals could express their concerns freely. I’ve always been committed to building trusted relationships, which allowed people to feel comfortable sharing their experiences. If I wasn’t able to directly provide the specific support needed, I would ensure individuals were connected with the right services. Whether through making referrals or helping them attend important appointments, I was dedicated to making sure they received the help they needed. This experience has greatly informed my approach as a hypnotherapist today, as I continue to provide holistic, caring support tailored to each individual.
