I am a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) practitioner based in Liverpool. I am experienced in treating issues such as anxiety, depression, phobias, OCD, low self-worth and assertiveness. I'm easy-going, approachable and down to earth. I am also a qualified and accredited hypnotherapist, and I integrate hypnotherapy into my ongoing CBT practice, or as a standalone treatment.
I've not always been a CBT therapist. I trained as an artist (and still paint), and have worked in marketing and social media comms for many years. I have trained as a counsellor as a firm believer in the power of the individual to take control of and make positive changes in their life, as well as for my own personal growth.
CBT, and in particular the type I practice (Rational Emotive Behavioural Therapy) is goal-focused and concerned with the here and now: where are you, what's troubling you and where would you like to be?
Although my main practice is CBT, I have been trained in a variety of interventions, allowing me to deliver integrative sessions to ensure you receive the most effective therapy possible.
If you're ready to make the change, I'm ready to help you.
