After an illness when I was 18 years old I began working on myself and searching for a natural healing approach for my healthcare. I had been brought up with natural therapies making this a natural progression for me. I became interested in Naturopathy and Healing and trained as a Reflexologist, Homeopath, following on with, Coaching, Reiki, body-balancing techniques and Theta DNA. My interest in Hypnosis came about after reading many books on the subject. I researched and found the Atkinson-Ball College of Hypnotherapy, which had a long-standing reputation. I qualified in 1993. Adding to this I was privileged to attend a course on Dream Therapy with Therapist Edward Whitmont who was a Jungian Psychotherapist connected to Carl Jung.
Based on my studies, I have practised as a Hypnotherapist and Dream Therapist For 29 years and worked as a Homeopath with Nutritional and Life-Plan Coaching for 35 years. I have been involved with self-development and meditation for most of my life, which I see as a natural ongoing journey!
I have taken gaps out of my work to progress my health and self-discovery with additional modalities. My interests are in social anthropology, philosophical quantum physics and general human development, especially ongoing self-awareness which is all at the forefront of improving my own and others’ lives. For me, love and care are at the centre of working with others and offering a space that is theirs to feel safe to heal within.
