After working in the Nursing / Caring sector for over 20 years I decided to go back to university where I qualified as a Hypnotherapist and Counsellor.
I am very passionate about my work and what I love most is seeing my clients progress . Being able to experience seeing the changes they make and feel within themselves is a wonderful journey to share.
I specialise in working with clients that suffer from anxiety, panic attacks, unwanted fears, phobias and depression. I help alot of clients in the 16 to 24 years age group . Having grown up children myself I am able to identify with the many difficulties that this age group have to deal with , particularly peer pressure from social media, exam worries, self harm, low self esteem, alcohol and drug addiction .
I welcome all ages of course and always treat my clients with an individual programme suited for their individual needs. We are all very different so getting to know my client, building up a rapport then deciding the correct approach is very important for me to be able to give the best appropriate plan of treatment.
I do offer help with giving up smoking and generally advise three sessions for this .

Mostly I would like to express that my aim is not to simply fix one issue that you are suffering from and send you on your way, but to give you the tools and techniques that you can practise with so that you can carry on benefitting from this wonderful therapy , enabling yourself to work through any future challenges that you may encounter ahead.
After all , we are constantly hearing the saying .... Life is a journey !
